Although these phrases do have a place, often a little tuition can make
what once was an unknown suddenly make sense and get your
productivity back to where you want it to be.

Other Situations may not call for a tuition session, but just need a quick

over the phone/e-mail if possible, but can also come to you to get you

Data Recovery
Don’t worry!!! There is still a chance…
There isn’t a job go by where I don’t ask the customer if they have been
backing up their data, often the reply is a blank stare followed by a nervous
chuckle.
Backing up data is often forgotten and deemed a laborious tasked that most
don’t have time for, but nowadays people keep their lives on their computers,
Family Photo’s, Documents, Work, Music, Movies etc and all is well and
good until it is gone.
Hard-drives DO NOT need to be old to fail, but age is certainly a factor, and
any device with storage over 2 years old should definitely have a health
check, if only for peace of mind.
But don’t panic just yet!!
Often a ‘Dead’ drive can be temporarily brought back to life long enough to
get some, if not all of the data off of it.
This job can be tricky and depending on how the drive failed can increase or
decrease the chances of recovery.
Any drive needed for recovery will be taken for initial testing, to try to assess
the damage and whether or not it is recoverable. If tested recoverable the
user will be asked if any ‘Urgent’ data is needed and this will be accessed
first, followed by less important data to minimise the risk of corruption.
